The latest visitors to Delves Road were Wolverhampton. The game was split into thirds to give all the squad chance to play in a variety of games. The conditions were muddy but fine. This game showed what we must aspire to. The opposition were more organised, as to be expected from an established team. We played with a great deal of commitment and by looking at the shirts at the end, everyone had really got stuck in. Several players showed improvement in technique, whether that be body position in the scrum, the placement of the ball in the ruck or wrapping the legs in the tackle. Our try was a length of the field run which brought great cheers from the crowd. Well done to all.
