This week the under 11s travelled to Kings Norton with just short of a full team but as Kings Norton had extra players, we were able to borrow a few to make the side more even and ensure all kids played the same amount of rugby.

Having players from different teams can sometimes ruin the flow of the game but on this occasion that was not the case. The Walsall boys all did really fantastic showing the experience taken from the week before paid off. There was no selfishness at all as the ball was passed around the pitch constantly with some great tackles being made.

We are really thankful to Kings Norton and their players for swapping round and helping out being great team members and ensure the kid’s enjoyment remained the main focus

This week’s Coaches player went to Reuben for stepping his game up a gear and the brilliant runs and effort put in. This week’s Parent's player went to Kenzo for his consistent 100% effort, zig zag runs through the opposition and always happy to stay alone at the back as last line of defence.
