Congrats to Burton for organising this years 'Kids First' Staffs Festival. It was very well organised and the day flowed well with some fantastic displays from all the clubs in Staffs.

Well done to the U9s Grizzlies who played 5 games and didn't concede a single try. Defence was excellent, but we also scored some cracking tries.

The Grizzlies squad (and tries)
James (7), Rhys (4), Freddie (2), Max (3), Hendrik (6), Harry (1), Danny (5), Jude (2), Ben (1), Liam.

An outstanding performance from all and whilst Liam didn't score, he was the perfect example of how defence is even more important than scoring tries as one of the players of the day. He was outstanding in the tackle as were all of the players.

Obviously there were no winners or losers at the festival, but this was the best performance I have seen.

The Polars also had a great day with a squad of William, Jonathan, Oliver, Lucas, Sean, Cian, Noah, Jack and Joshua.
All of the players excelled themselves this week with some fantastic tries, good running and tackling. All of them did themselves proud and show that the squad as a whole next season will all the stronger.

Well done to everyone!

Special thanks to all of the parents who have given up their Sundays through the season and to Coaches Booboo and Pooh who have helped the kids develop throughout the year and who I couldn't have done it without.

For those touring, see you there.
For those who aren't, see you at the celebration day!
