But Nunney put the visitors back in the lead with another well struck penalty just before half time.
Ten minutes into the second half, the visitors produce their best attack of the game. Superb running and support play resulted in flank forward Max Hughes beating the defence to score near the posts with Nunney adding the conversion. This resulted in Fitzgerald scoring his second try with Nunney adding another well struck conversion. But the final ten minutes saw the hosts trying to launch attacks at every opportunity. A wayward Walsall clearance kick saw winger Luke Smith finish off the counterattack with a try which Matt Smith converted. The final minutes saw Matt Smith add a penalty and then Richards score his try in the final play of the match.
